Re_Videk
The theme of the year 2021/22 at our faculty was to redefine something. I decided to redefine clothing with an augmented reality upgrade(Instagram filters) and as a “story” element redefine an old children’s story called Who made Videk’s shirt. A story about a boy, the youngest in the family with the most damaged little shirt. His shirt falls apart while he’s wearing it and kind forest animals make him a new one. I decided to approach through collage of already existing garments, using a scanner, with my goal being to make very simple but functional pieces with a sort of childish feel to them. All with a layer of 3d upgrades that can be seen through Instagram filters. My goal wasn’t a collection, more so a technical experiment of combining augmented reality and physical clothing.
